London Gem n Bead Fair
Picture is 10am queue and the MrBead stall. Great show, over 50 exhibitors and many many visitors. This show has always been the largest of the Gem n Bead Fairs, and Sam & Pete are building it back up again.
On the Saturday we were so busy my head was spinning! Not quite as good as the first Kempton after lockdown last year, but almost.
We’re back there end of July. There were lots of new exhibitors. Pictures below are a general view of the fair and Michael from Bead Buyer eagerly stashing away £5 from a sale!
Warick Gem n Bead Fair
This show was a disaster for us! Very few visitors, and the ones that did arrive weren’t bead buyers.
Things picked up on the Sunday, but we won’t be returning. However, we still managed to make a profit on the almost-£600 display cost.

EASTER BEADING
Easter Friday this year is on 17th April – so get your Easter designs ready now! Easter’s a great time to sell jewellery – spring has arrived, and buyers are keen for new designs. There’s also many spring fairs over the holiday for you to sell at.
We have a whole category of flower beads made from all stones and material. Some millefiori, some agate, some jade and some metal.
Bunny, egg designs and flower beads are great for the Easter jewellery. Light yellow, green, or anything pastel. Hight key and enlightening. Resurrect your old non-sellers, by taking apart and adding different beads for a new design.
Choose pastel colours and mix them to make a bright, light, design. Pearls are also popular this time of year, along with all types of crystal and jade.
These all produce a bright, high-key look. White, yellows, greens and pinks look good, giving a spring-like feel. Colourful seed beads can be used to cover eggs and other objects to give an Easter look.
Give a loved one a pearl necklace for an Easter present – she will look so good wearing it on Easter Day. Plus, flower bead bracelets and earrings are so easy to make too. Happy Easter!

We’ve booked 28 fairs so far this year – with at least 3 more yet to plan.
This year we’ll be holding more of our own shows, at new locations requested by customers. If you feel there isn’t any bead fairs near you, let me know and I’ll consider your request.
