Cheshire Bead Fair – This Sunday!
The Cheshire show has been running for years, an old classic at Nantwich Civic Hall. Feels like wearing an old pair of shoes to us – we used to exhibit around 15-years ago, when we lived in Hong Kong.
Everything you needs to make beautiful jewellery is sold here. From semi precious and seed beads, to findings and threads. Only £3 on the door and lots of refreshments! Free parking.
Lincoln & Essex Bead Fairs
The Following Weekend, We’re Further South: Sat 24th June at Lincoln Bead Fair – 10:30am to 3:30pm at North Kyme Village Hall
A beautiful new hall with wifi and air-conditioning, hidden in the Lincolnshire countryside. The latest semi precious beads & pearls for making great jewellery, custom rings & jewellery by MaghaJewels and other exhibitors with lots of fun stuff.
Between Lincoln & Boston – just 15-mins from A17 Seleaford, follow LN4 4DL. Yummy refreshments, tea, coffee and a variety of delicious home made cakes! Lots of seats to eat & chat.
Sun 25th June at Essex Bead Fair – 11am to 4pm at Great Bromley Village Hall
Combine with a day out on the East Coast! Beautiful village creating a laid-back fair, different to the problems in the city! Easy free parking and free refreshments.

Are You Ready For Summer?
Officially the 21st June is start of summer. Do you have your summer beads ready?
While spring jewellery is pastel greens and yellows, summer needs cooling blue, vibrant reds and yellows like the setting sun. Aquamarine and citrine is ideal.
Calsilica beads are good with their vivid colours that attracts attention. Some say calsilica is from Mexico – however, it’s pulverized carbonate rock, coloured and stabilized with a polymer. No two of these dramatic stones are alike.

We are a family who started our little business in November 2021. Composing of myself Mark ( age 45), Kayleigh (37), Ocèan (12), Holly (9), and Lunah just 3 1/2. Working from our shop in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
When we started gathering material to make jewellery, our mission was to create quality, bright, colourful and unique pieces to appeal to anyone. We started with just £50 to set off on our adventure.
We’re totally self taught. Apart from taking inspiration from designs like Angel Earrings. We try to make them better (see our etsy) – Angel’s are acrylic beads with plastic body, ours are Near round Pearl with a glass body.

Bead Fair Report
Norwich Bead Fair
This show is getting busier & busier – the previous Norwich was a record, but Sunday 4th June beat that! Lorraine from The Bead Queen, also done well with her original designed jewellery. (pic before opening!)
However, despite the crowns, most visitors were new, some from far. Perhaps, as with many of our ‘interesting’ locations, beaders made a holiday of it.

2023 Bead Fairs
We’re doing less Gem n Bead Fairs, and more of our own single day shows. Most free entry & free refreshments.
They’re also more busy, giving visitors a buzz and chance to share ideas. If you feel we’re not near you, let me know and I’ll consider your location.
