Mr & Mrs Bead’s US Trip
After the show season, MiMi and I enjoyed a short US visit. We started 4-days with our friends in Florida, then 2-days in New Orleans, followed by 4-days around the Grand Canyon.
Phoenix, Arizonia has self-drive taxies everywhere. Waymo’s are ordered by an app – owned by Alphabet (Google). You sit in the back, work, or watch the steering wheel go round on its own! Apparently, they’re coming to London next year.
Lived 25-years in Hong Kong, we usually holidayed locally in the Far East: China, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia. Never the US. Now we’re catching up!
There’s some beautiful jewellery in Arizona. Real quality stones – but nothing cheap! Above are designs from a Sedona shop window. Not so difficult for you to copy.
