Mr & Mrs Beads’ Sardinian Trip
Sardina wasn’t as good as expected. Far too hot – 36c every day, all day. We flew into Olbia in the north, stayed two-days and visited Maddalena Island. Then train to Sassari and 3-days in an apartment in Alghero. From there we took a train to the capital, Cagiari – where we hired a car and drove to the Island of Calesetta in the far south west. Then round the coast and back to Cagiari Airport and to Stansted.
We had some great seafood meals over the 8-days – but overall, not a lot to see. Just restaurants and beaches! All much the same. We hate laying on the beach, but I do enjoy a swim.
