Bead Fair Report
Cornish Bead Fair – Wadebridge
We love it in Cornwall, and Cornish beaders love us! As usual, this was a busy show with good sales. We’ll be back in Cornwall next year around late spring in Probus.
London Gem n Bead Fair
This was busier than expected, especially from noon on the Saturday. Lot of visitors and good wholesale takings. We won’t be at Kempton Park again this year, or spring 2026, but will return for the summer show next year.
It was great to see all our friends from the Gem n Bead Fairs. Especially camping with Andrew from Monty’s Beads and Phil and Debra from Crystal Holdings.
Plus at the excellent farewell for the late Sheila Harrison, organised by Harriet of Ilona Biggins Beads. Sheila used to sell at the Gem n Bead Fairs and our own shows. That’s her on the above bottom left colour picture, at 83-years-old! The three beside her are Diane & Peter of Harmony, and Keith who used to own the Gem n Bead Fairs.

Bead shows are fun. You’ll love them! Bring a trolley, as beads get heavy. Take some cash, as a few venues have a weak signal for card payments. Talk to the vendors and other visitors to inspire new design ideas. Make a note of what you paid for beads, and keep exhibitors’ business cards and leaflets.
